Abdul Monem Ltd and Coca-Cola provide support to flood-affected people

Coca-Cola Bangladesh, through its franchise bottling partner, Abdul Monem Limited, donated 120,000 bottles of Kinley mineral water to the people in the flood-affected areas of Sylhet.

According to a press release, the company is closely working with the Bangladesh Army and local hospitals to ensure that the right people are receiving the water bottles in Sylhet, Moulvibazar and Sunamgonj.

Abdul Monem Limited spokesperson said: “Our heart goes out to the people of Sylhet division who are going through such difficult times. We are working through the Bangladesh Army to ensure that people get the water bottles. We pray and hope that the situation gets better quickly and we can work towards recovery.”

Previously during the Covid pandemic, the company worked closely with numerous NGOs such as the Red Crescent Society Bangladesh and Care Bangladesh to ‘Stop the Spread’ of the virus by facilitating vaccine distribution, Covid safety kits (PPE - masks, gloves, sanitizer) and creating awareness around vaccination.
