Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has started payment of Nesco’s electricity bill.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard was exchanged on Thursday at a hotel in Dhaka.
Managing Director and CEO of the bank Mohammed Monirul Moula and Managing Director of Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited (Nesco) Jakiul Islam handed over the papers.
Additional Managing Director Md Omar Faruk Khan, Senior Executive Vice President of the bank Md Mahboob Alam, and Executive Director (Finance) of Nesco Syed Golam Ahammad addressed in the program.
Officials of both organizations including Jamal Uddin Mazumder and Abul Faiz Muhammad Kamaluddin, senior executive vice president of IBBL were present on the occasion. Nesco has electricity services in 16 districts of Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions.
