In order to maintain consistency of the country’s development, a segment of the country’s top businessmen urged youth voters to cast their vote for Awami League, at a function held in the city on Monday.
The event, titled “#IamBangladesh”, was organized by former Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) president Atiqul Islam, in collaboration with the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI), Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI), and Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).
National cricketer Shakib Al Hasan was invited as a speaker, where he urged the youngsters to vote for Awami League on December 30. “You know where to cast your vote. I will vote for boat as well.”
FBCCI president Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, chief guest of the occasion, said that December 30 is an important date as the youngsters can vote for Awami League, who will continue to develop the country further.
“There are many problems in Bangladesh. Only with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s leadership can those be overcome,” he added.
Among others, current FBCCI President Md Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, BGMEA President Md Siddiqur Rahman and DCCI President Abul Kasem Khan were present at the occasion.
