Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday forecasted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours, commencing 9am.
"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Barisal, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Khulna divisions," said a Met Office bulletin issued in the morning.
Besides, it said, moderately heavy falls may occur at places over the country.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Monday was 34.4°C in Sayedpur, while Tuesday's minimum temperature is 24.5°C in Sylhet.
In the last 24 hours (till 6am on Tuesday), the highest 57 millimetre rainfall occurred in Feni.
The sun sets at 6:23pm on Tuesday and rises at 5:38am on Wednesday in Dhaka.
