Dhaka North City Corporation polls mayoral candidate Abdullah Al Kafee has promised to make a city which will be safe for the women.
Kafee unveiled his 71-point election manifesto in capital's National Press Club Auditorium on Thursday morning.
He said: “The city which city is safe for women, is safe for all.”
Kafee's manifesto includes enough rehabilitation for working women and free bus service for them, especial allowances for pregnant women, creating work place for youths and community centre in every ward and sufficient libraries for wards.
Kafee's manifesto reads that there will be city government which will coordinate the ministries and institutions concerned.
The manifesto further includes all services will be e-services and every ward councillor’s office will be citizen's service centre.
Besides several more commitments were made by Abdullah Al Kafee, who will contest with the symbol Elephant in the city election.
Communist Party of Bangladesh President Mujahidul Islam Selim and Dhaka University professor MM Akash were present among others in the press conference.
