Mirza Abbas’s bail hearings order Wednesday

The High Court has set Wednesday on which to pass an order on the bail petitions in two cases filed by the police against BNP leader Mirza Abbas.

A High Court bench of Justices Quamrul Islam Siddique and Gobinda Chandra Tagore passed the order on Monday after hearing on bail petitions filed by the defence counsels.

The court also asked the authorities not to arrest BNP-backed Dhaka South City Corporation mayoral candidate Mirza Abbas before April 15 which was fixed for giving order on two of his bail hearings.
