A Dhaka court yesterday deferred the indictment hearing against 73 BNP activists, including its acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, till June 16 in a case filed on charges of vandalism and obstructing law enforcers from discharging their duties.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Alamgir Kabir Raj passed the order following a time petition filed by the defence counsel.
Last year, the charge sheet of the case filed with Jatrabari police station in 2009 was submitted.
