BNP-led 20-party alliance has called a fresh 48-hour nationwide hartal beginning from Monday morning.
However, Dhaka and Chittagong City Corporations will remain out of the hartal purview.
The hartal will be enforced from 6am Monday and will continue till 6am on Wednesday, BNP joint secretary general Barkatullah Bulu said in a press release issued on Sunday afternoon.
He, on behalf of the party chairperson Khaleda Zia, called upon the party leaders and activists to enforce the hartal peacefully.
