BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is looking forward to grabbing state power with the help of foreign aid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said.
The premiere made the comment while addressing a discussion at Krishibid Institution auditorium in the capital on Sunday.
BNP will not be able to take over power by killing the general people indiscriminately, she said.
“Although BNP expects a foreign aid to grab power, that foreign power will not come forward to help them, as they have engaged in mass murders in the name of a democratic movement.”
The anarchists will face trial on this soil just as the killers of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had done, the premier added.
The Awami League organised the discussion in observance of International Mother Language Day.
