Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged all to be united against violence and militancy allegedly carried out by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
The PM made the appeal while participating in a discussion, "BNP-Jamat's Arson Violence-Blood Stained Bangladesh," at the National Museum in the capital on Tuesday morning.
She called all conscious residents of the nation to tell BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to stop killing people.
What they [the 20-party alliance] are doing in the name of politics is not politics. It is nothing but terrorism and militancy, she said.
She reiterated that there will be no place for militants and terrorists in the country.
Sheikh Hasina broke into tears watching the documentary, and listening to the sad stories of a number of burnt and affected victims of the violence.
She also mentioned her government would do whatever is needed to safeguard the lives and property of the people.
Earlier, a documentary on BNP-Jamaat's atrocities and arson attacks on the people during the last one and half months was screened.
