A case has been filed against 43 BNP-Jammat activists over a clash with police at Sagordigirpar area of Sylhet city on Sunday evening.
Sub-Inspector of Kotwali police station Robiul Islam Masum said: “We detained three accused named Forid Mia, Abu Jor and Mustafijur Rahman.”
The court sent them to the jail after they had been produced before court on Monday, he added.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Abdus Sattar filed the case on Monday where 13 named and the rest are unnamed.
The accused are Md Abu Jor,15, Mustafijur Rahman,16, Forid Mia,28, Ali Akbar Fokir, 35, Abdul Hakik ,32, Jaki,21, Omar,22, Junaed,23, Rafi,24, Sumon,24, Imran,26, Marjul ,21, and Sujon ,22.
On Sunday evening, BNP-Jammat activists locked into clashes with police in the area and blasted crude bombs. With the help of local people, police detained three of them who all are Chhatra Shibir activists.
