Hanif demands posthumous trial of Zia

"Ziaur Rahman has been identified as the planner of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's murder," he told in a press briefing at Awami League President's political office at Dhanmondi on Saturday. The Awami League leader said the country now witnesses a public demand for Ziaur Rahman's posthumous trial as a mastermind of the August 15, 1975 assassination alongside the return of the fugitive convicts of the Bangabandhu murder trial to be exposed to justice. Joint General Secretaries of the Awami League Dr Dipu Moni and Abdur Rahman, Organising Secretaries Ahmad Hossen, AKM Enamul Haq Shamim, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, and Muhibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel also attended the briefing.
