Khaleda set to address Natore rally

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is set to address the public rally of BNP-led 20-party alliance in Natore.

She is on her political tour to mobilise mass support in favour of the demand of election under a non-partisan interim government.

She reached the stage of the rally around 3:20pm on Saturday.

The meeting started at 2pm at Nawab Siraj Ud Doula College grounds.

Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu is chairing the meeting.

Earlier on Saturday morning, Khaleda left her capital's Gulshan residence for Natore district.

Her motorcade left the Gulshan residence at 10:15am, said Khaleda's press wing official Shairul Kabir Khan.

Earlier, Dulu said the meeting was rescheduled on November 1 from October 30 following the verdict for 1971 wartime atrocities against Motiur Rahman Nizami, chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, a partner of the BNP-led alliance.
