BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will address a rally organised by the 20-party alliance in Natore on Saturday.
The rally is aimed to mobilise mass support in favour of the 20-party alliance demand of election under a non-partisan interim government.
The public meeting will be started at 2pm at Nawab Siraj-ud-Doula College ground in Natore where thousands of people from different sections of life is expected to join, said party leaders.
BNP leader Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu will chair the meeting.
Dulu said though the meeting was scheduled for October 30 but they were compelled to shift the date to November 1 due to alliance partner Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami chief verdict on crimes against humanity.
Natore city wore a festive look as hundreds of arch ways were erected and thousands of billboards, placards and festoons were decorated to welcome the former premier.
Natore district 20-party leaders addressing a press briefing on Friday morning sought help from the law enforcers, ruling party leaders to make the programme successful.
Dewan Shahin, convener of the decoration committee, said 112 welcoming archways have been set up over the road from station bazar area to Kasikata toll plaza of Natore.
