‘No political instability in investment’

Finance Minister AMA Muhith claimed that there was no political instability in terms of investment in the country.

He made the remark in response to a query after a meeting with the delegations of International Finance Corporation and Bangladesh Jute Goods Association at the Secretariat yesterday.

Muhith termed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s movement bogus, saying that BNP acting secretary general Fakhrul Islam Alamgir only talks.

He said the weak points of the country’s economy are lack of investment and its growth rate is almost normal.
