Deprived JCD members go berserk at Nayapaltan

The deprived leaders and activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal activists have gone on a rampage and vandalised the party's Nayapaltan headquarters in protest against the newly formed committee of the students' wing of the BNP.

The leaders and activists, who were dropped from the newly formed committee, threw brick chips targeting the BNP head office on Sunday afternoon.

They also engaged in a chase and counter-chase with the members of the new committee.

Our correspondent said Chhatra Dal members hurled bricks chips at the party office, breaking the glasses of number of windows. They were also carrying batons and bamboo sticks.

On October 14, the BNP announced some of the names of the 201-strong new committee of its students’ wing Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, “dropping many dedicated and regular students.”
