Awami League presidium member and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim has urged BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia not to celebrate her fake birthday on August 15, the National Mourning Day.
Nasim made this appeal while speaking at a public rally at Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital at one minute past zero hours on the first day of the month of mourning.
"August is the month of mourning for the Bangalee nation and August 15 is the day of mourning. You either observe the day or not as the mourning day but don't celebrate your fake birthday by cutting cake," Nasim said pointing at Khaleda.
The killers of 1971 and 1975 along with their stooges are trying to repeat another incident like that of the August 15 carnage, he said.
He added that they wanted to kill Sheikh Hasina but failed. That's why, they are hatching conspiracies again.
