Information Minister Hasanul Huq Inu has condemned the Israeli attacks on Gaza civilians.
He also called upon the newly nominated US envoy to Bangladesh Bernicot to stop the Israeli attack in Gaza before criticising the January 5 election in Bangladesh, BSS reports.
The minister was addressing a rally in front of the National Press Club in protest against the Israeli attack.
He referred to the killing of about four hundred civilian casualties and termed these were crimes against humanity.
Inu said: "The people of this country are with the Palestinians and will remain so."
