14-party alliance to send delegation to Gaza

The 14-party alliance has decided to send a delegation to Gaza in order to express its sympathy at the deaths of innocent civilians, Mohammad Nasim, the spokesperson for the alliance, has said.

“The 14-party [alliance] has proposed to send a team to Gaza for expressing our profound sympathy at the deaths of innocent civilians, especially the children. We have also requested the Foreign Ministry and Law Ministry to take necessary steps in this regard.”

Nasim, the health minister and also a member of the Awami League Presidium, made the statement while talking to journalists after a meeting at the party’s Dhanmondi office yesterday.

Strongly condemning the killing of civilians in Gaza, he said: “No civilised state can conduct such type of killing mission. These attacks are the worst examples in human history. Despite the killings of women and children, some countries are still supporting Israel, which is shameful.”

He urged the global community to take immediate steps to stop the “genocide.”
