The chairman position in Sadar upazila parishad election in Kishoreganj has been won by BNP-backed candidate Shariful Islam, who took the victory over Awami League- backed candidate Syed Ashfakul Islam.
Shariful won a landslide victory with 61794 votes in his name while Ashfakul pulled in a total of 47978 votes.
