Another Islamist political party

A new political party under name of “Bangladesh United Islami Party”, led by former Awami Olama League central leader Mohammad Ismail Hossain, has been launched on Saturday.

Hossain, who left Awami Olama League in the year 2011, will lead the party as its convener.

Addressing the occasion, Hossain said: “BUIP is a pro-liberation party and aim of the party is creating Islamic spirit among people.”

He said the country has no pro-liberation Islamic party.
