Two leaders of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal and Swechhasebak Dal, the student and voluntary wing of BNP, were denied bail in two cases on Tuesday.
Chhatra Dal Secretary Habibur Rashid Habib and Swechhasebak Dal Organising Secretary Shafiul Bari Babu were denied bail in two cases of Sobujbagh and Motijheel police.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Zahurul Haque passed the order after in the cases related to hartal violence and May 5 Hefazat-e Islam incident.
The defence pleaded for bail in 10 separate cases against Habib and three cases against Shafiul filed with Motijheel, Paltan, New market and Sobujbagh police stations.
