The 18-party alliance has called a dawn-to-dusk hartal in Bogra’s Gabtali upazila for Thursday in protest of the fake cases filed against their leaders and activists.
The 18-party Movement Committee District Joint Convener Md Abdul Rahim Pintu declared the programme through a press release issued on Wednesday.
According to the press release, some 52 leaders and activists of the alliance were arrested in fake cases filed against them for allegedly indulging in anti-election activities in Gabtali upazila during the national election on January 5.
On the other hand, re-polling on the eight suspended constituencies - including Bogra 7 - will be held on Thursday.
