Referring to the ongoing violence across the country, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said people could not compensate for BNP's political mistake.
She made the statement on Tuesday evening during a meeting of the 14-party alliance.
While talking to her party members, Hasina condemned the attacks on the minority community that took place ahead and during the 10th parliamentary elections in last couple of days.
“I have never compromised with terrorism.” The attack on the minority community indicated that the “character of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami remains unchanged,” she said.
She urged BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to stop violence and warned that her government will take actions against the perpetrators of violence.
Hasina also congratulated her allies for the victory in the 10th parliamentary elections.
She called upon the media to play a positive role in highlighting the good and downplaying the bad.
