A delegation of BNP Parliamentary Party (BNPPP) led by Opposition Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farroque has sought appointment to meet President Abdul Hamid on Thursday.
Syrul Kabir, a press wing official of BNP chief Khaleda Zia, confirmed about the matter to the Dhaka Tribune.
Earlier in the day, the delegation met Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury at the parliament.
On November 19, a delegation of the 18-party alliance, led by BNP chief Khaleda Zia, met the president regarding the current political deadlock.
