Jatiya Party Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Hawlader has called for a countrywide demonstration on Tuesday demanding the release of party Chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad
He made the announcement in a discussion meeting on the occasion of Victory Day held in the party’s Banani office in the capital.
Ershad was picked up by Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) from his Baridhara residence late Thursday night.
However, Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) said Ershad was “escorted” to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) inside Dhaka Cantonment after “falling sick.”
Till now, the JP Chief has been under treatment at the CMH.
