Stop killing people, PM to Khaleda

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday urged the opposition chief to stop killing people.

Indicating Khaleda Zia, the prime minister said: “You will be tried for killing people. How much blood do you need?”

She made the statement while addressing a meeting with the working committee members in her Ganabhaban residence, Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile, she said Khaleda Zia doesn’t have any sympathy or feelings towards the people of the country.

“They [BNP] are just taking revenge for their defeat in the elections in 2008,” she added.

Citing that the BNP’s politics are much like Osama Bin Laden’s, the prime minister said: “They release video footage from hideaway.”

On the other hand, Awami League and the 18-party opposition alliance are accusing each other over the violence that have claimed several lives during the countrywide blockade.
