A large number of law enforcers , including female police personnel, were deployed around the Gulshan residence of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Saturday afternoon.
Dhaka Tribune reporter Mohammad Al-Masum Molla confirmed the news from scene.
Last night, five BNP leaders, including Moudud Ahmed, Rafiqul Islam Miah and MK Anwar, were arrested.
Details were not immediately available as to why additional police forces were deployed.
