Moudud: Govt doesn’t want dialogue

BNP Standing Committee Member Moudud Ahmed alleged that the government did not want a dialogue.

“The Awami League government is talking about dialogue to try and confuse people,” claimed Moudud while addressing a discussion at the National Press Club on Friday.

He alleged that the all-party government would turn into a 14-party alliance government if it is formed without the BNP.

He said: “We will compel the government to reinstate the caretaker government system through movement.”

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on October 26 phoned BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and invited her for dinner at Ganabhaban to initiate dialogue over the polls-time government; but the opposition leader said she could not accept the invitation due to the then-upcoming 60-hour hartal.
