Publicity secretary of ruling Awami League Dr Hasan Mahmud on Saturday said AL has taken special preparation to face BNP if it creates anarchy after October 25.
Hasan, also the current Environment Minister, said while addressing a programme in Chittagong: “As BNP said the country will experience a special situation after October 25, AL, along with the government, is also prepared especially to face the situation.”
The AL lawmaker also said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be the chief of the interim government during elections according to democratic proceedings like other parliamentary democratic countries in the world.
He said the premier on Friday offered an opportunity for the opposition party to be member of the interim government and form an all-party government for a free and fair election.
“If the oppositions do not take the opportunity, then we will realise that they want to create anarchy across the country for grabbing power,” the minister said.
