BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury on Saturday said that if BNP is voted to power, Bangladesh will be turned into a commercial hub where domestic and foreign investors can invest freely.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the Sylhet Business Dialogue at Jalalabad Gas auditorium.
The event was organized under the initiative of BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council member Khandaker Abdul Muktadir.
“If we come to power, one crore people of the country will be employed in the first 18 months,” said Khasru.
Highest importance will be given to the information technology sector, he said, adding jobs will be given to the youth who have passed minimum SSC in the IT sector.
Initiatives will be taken to bring back young IT professionals who are skilled abroad, he added.
He said businesses should be kept out of politics. BNP will work to develop business and trade from the first day it comes to power, he added.
