The National Citizen Party (NCP) has issued a show-cause notice to its joint convener, Sarwar Tusher, following allegations of moral misconduct.
A notice signed by NCP Joint Member Secretary (Office) Saleh Uddin Sifat on Tuesday reads: “Allegations of moral misconduct has been brought against you. Convener Md Nahid Islam and Member Secretary Md Akhtar Hossain have sought a clear statement and explanation from you regarding the matter.”
“In this context, you are instructed to submit a written explanation within five days to the ‘Political Council’ and the investigation committee formed on the matter, stating why organizational action should not be taken against you over the allegation of moral misconduct.”
Additionally, he has been asked to refrain from participating in all organizational activities of the party until the matter is resolved.
