BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has said that everyone must remain united to establish democracy in the future.
On Monday, while virtually joining a greeting exchange event with senior party leaders on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and Independence Day, she emphasized the need for mutual cooperation and collective efforts to secure voting rights.
The event was held at the BNP chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, and the party’s acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, also joined from London.
At the beginning of the event, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir delivered a welcome speech and congratulated the acting chairman.
Following this, Tarique Rahman extended Eid greetings to everyone and invited the party’s chairperson, Khaleda Zia, to speak.
Addressing everyone, the BNP chairperson said that the sacrifices and struggles of party members have not been in vain and will not go in vain.
She urged everyone to work together to ensure the people's voting rights. She also extended Eid greetings to the nation.
Overwhelmed with emotions upon seeing everyone after a long time, she sought the prayers of the people and Allah’s guidance for the journey ahead.
