Rashed Khan: Obaidul Quader is a curse for Noakhali

Rashed Khan, general secretary of Gono Odhikar Parishad, expressed gratitude for what he referred to as the farewell bell for the Awami League.

He remarked that Obaidul Quader has been a curse for Noakhali and accused him of being responsible for the deaths of thousands of their brothers, along with Sheikh Hasina.

He made these remarks as the chief speaker at the Youth Assembly in Maizdi, Noakhali, held on Saturday to honor the sacrifices of students and citizens in the pursuit of a corruption-free, equitable, and democratic nation.

He further remarked that the Awami League has tarnished the beauty of the country’s politics, saying: "For every bullet fired at students, justice will be served in this country. Sheikh Hasina had claimed that Sheikh Mujib's daughter did not flee.

Just three days after making that statement, she fled. He clearly demanded the banning of both the Awami League and the Jatiya Party.

In his address, Abdus Jaher, a member of the central committee of Gono Odhikar Parishad, mentioned: "After August 5, all of Obaidul Quader's followers from Noakhali fled. Now, they are trying to peek out from their holes again. Some petty leaders are roaming around extorting money in Noakhali's markets."
