Shafiqur: Jamaat men will change themselves before transforming Bangladesh

Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman commented that every member (Rukn) of Jamaat-e-Islami will first change themselves, and then they will transform Bangladesh.

He said: "Everything created by Allah must be respected. We will regard people as human beings and call them to the path of Allah."

Shafiqur Rahman made these remarks during a conference in Pabna on Saturday.

The Jamaat-e-Islami ameer added: "I congratulate those who oppose us. Their opposition is what gives this organization (Jamaat) publicity. What we could not achieve, they have helped us to achieve. Now, I pray to Allah that at least the name (Jamaat) has reached far; now, let this name be conveyed purely.

“There will not be a single house left in Pabna where we will not reach the message of Tawhid."

He said: "Discrimination has not yet been eliminated. A temporary relief has come. We will eradicate all minor inequalities. Nobody could have imagined that this Bangladesh would change in just two months. Those who have fought laying down their lives, may Allah bless them for the sake of the faith."

Pabna Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Prof Abu Taleb Mandal, presided over the conference.
