Rizvi greets nation on Pohela Boishakh

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has greeted the country’s people on the occasion of Pohela Boishakh, the first day of Bengali New Year 1431, to be celebrated across the country on Sunday.

“Bangladesh is now a fertile ground for cultivation of corruption on a large scale,” Rizvi told reporters at Naya Paltan on Saturday. “This dummy government has no accountability and responsibility to the people, because they don't need the vote of the people. They don't care about votes.”

The BNP leader alleged that the government has plunged into massive corruption, looting and money laundering.

“When corruption is encouraged in the State, it is allowed to remain immersed in corruption, they become addicted to dominating the society with illegal corruption money," he said, adding that the ruling party men killed a person in Munshiganj to establish their dominance.
