Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has described the BNP as an oppressive and communal force and said the party can not be allowed to grow further.
He said on Saturday afternoon at a rally at Bangabandhu Avenue.
Obaidul Quader also announced at the rally that the Awami League will hold Peace, Democracy and Development rally in all metropolitan cities, districts, and sub-districts of the country on Tuesday.
He further said: “Awami League leaders and workers will participate in the rally with flags in hand.”
