This will be the first standing committee meeting following the reshuffle in BNP's highest policy making body.
Syrul Kabir Khan, an official of BNP chairperson's press wing, confirmed it to the Dhaka Tribune saying the former premier would also hold another meeting with the alliance partners on Saturday night at the same venue.
On August 6, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the party's full committee.
Soon after the announcement, at least three BNP leaders tendered their resignations while many senior leaders expressed grievances and plans to quit.
Though the party has announced its executive committee, two posts of the party's standing committee are yet to be announced.
Party sources said Khaleda will hold the meeting with the intention of resolving the grievances of the aggrieved leaders and activists.
The BNP chief may also discuss the country's political situation and try to devise the next course of action.
