14-party alliance to hold protest rally Monday

Awami League-led 14-party alliance will hold a protest rally on Monday to protest the attacks on police, journalists and vandalizing the residence of the Chief Justice in the capital.

The rally will be held at the central office of Awami League in Bangabandhu Avenue at 3pm, said a press release signed by Awami League Secretary Sayem Khan on Sunday.

According to the press release, Awami League advisory council member and 14-party alliance coordinator Amir Hossain Amu will preside over the rally. 

National leaders of 14 parties, members of the Cabinet and members of the national parliament will speak on the occasion.

On the other hand, a joint meeting will be held on Monday with Awami League leaders, Dhaka Metropolitan North-South and Dhaka District Branch President-General Secretary, Dhaka North-South City Mayor, Dhaka Metropolitan North-South party parliamentarians and president-general secretaries of all affiliated organizations. 

The meeting will be held at the central office of Awami League on Bangabandhu Avenue at 11:30am.

The information was revealed in a press release signed by Awami League Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua on Sunday.

According to press release, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader will preside over the meeting. He requested all concerned to attend on time.
