Workers Party of Bangladesh President Rashed Khan Menon has said that the United States (US) is moving the world towards another world war.
“It's not just Hamas' fight with Israel, it's a fight for freedom all over the world. The US is desperate to establish its occupation everywhere,” he said.
He made the comments while addressing a rally at the National Press Club on Saturday.
"I thank Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for standing up for Palestine. She protested strongly against Israel. Today, she is observing state mourning on behalf of the Palestinians,” Menon.
Awami League Advisory Council member and Bangladesh Peace Council President Muzaffar Hossain Paltu said: "Israel has been killing Palestinians indiscriminately for the last two weeks. And US talks about humanity at home, and it talks about democracy. However, they are siding with Israel when it comes to humanity.”
