Awami League Presidium Member Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak on Friday commented that miscreants and terrorists have entered Dhaka city centering BNP’s rally on October 28.
"They have made hideouts renting rooms in hotels, flats, and houses in the city with double fare. BNP leaders and activists are trying to create an anarchic situation in the country. So everyone should be prepared,” he said.
He made the comments after watching the biopic “Mujib: The Making of a Nation”, based on the life and works of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League organized the screening of the movie at Sony Cinema Hall in Mirpur.
Recently Nanak has been given the responsibility of coordinator of Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League.
“You will have to inform law enforcement agencies about miscreants in your respective areas. Then, they will perform their duties. If there is anarchy, they will be given a befitting reply,” he said.
“They (BNP) do not want the election to be held. But we have to make sure that the next parliamentary elections will be held on time as per the constitution,” Nanak further said.
