BNP processions underway in Dhaka

The BNP's processions to emphasize its one-point movement began on Friday afternoon at two locations in the capital Dhaka.

The two processions were organized by the BNP's North and South units.

Beginning at Suvastu Tower in Badda and ending at the Abul Hotel in Rampura, the BNP's Dhaka North parade was led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

The Dhaka South unit march, which began at Kamalapur Stadium and was headed by BNP Standing Committee Member Mirza Abbas, will come to an end at the Malibagh railway gate.

Earlier in the day, leaders and activists of the BNP Dhaka South unit assembled in the Kamalapur Stadium area to participate in the mass procession focusing on the party's one-point demand - the resignation of the current government.

A stage was erected on trucks adjacent to the stadium for a brief rally before the mass procession on Friday.

Throughout Friday afternoon, leaders and activists have been arriving from various regions, chanting slogans and calling for a change in government.
