The 14-party alliance led by ruling Awami League has declared a week-long rally, protest march, and human chain from next Wednesday to build public awareness against the BNP Jamaat's violence and anti-state conspiracy.
Awami League advisory council member and 14-party coordinator Amir Hossain Amu announced this decision after a meeting in his New Eskaton residence on Monday evening.
Amir Hossain Amu said: “We have decided on a series of programs from Wednesday. The detail programs will be declared soon after getting proper approval,”
He said, “We are noticing - BNP is talking about amendment of the constitution. They want to disrupt the constitutional clause and to introduce another clause. If they want to change the constitution by disrupting the constitutional order, we will not give them any chance.”
