Narayanganj district unit BNP Joint Convener Masukul Islam Rajeev has been arrested by the police.
He was arrested from his home in Missionpara area of Narayanganj on Sunday night.
Narayanganj district unit BNP Senior Joint Convener Mamun Mahmud said: "Police arrested Masukul Islam Rajeev from his house at night. However, they did not disclose in what case he has been arrested. I am looking into it. I will give you details later.”
Narayanganj Sadar Model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anichur Rahman said: "There was an arrest warrant against him in a case. That is why he was arrested at night.”
