Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said that while the government is trying hard to carry on the development of Bangladesh by confronting the global crisis, a vested quarter is conspiring against the government by taking advantage of the situation.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has also given shameless support to heinous acts like child exploitation, echoing a national daily, he said.

He said that the global economy is going through a deep crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the Ukraine-Russia war, which has caused an alarming rate of inflation all over the world. The people of Bangladesh are also in some trouble due to the pressure of inflation. To alleviate this suffering of the people, the government has taken all kinds of steps along with various people-friendly and food-friendly programs.

There is no food shortage in the country. This is proven today that the right of people to rice has been established in the country under the leadership of Awami League.
