The BNP and like-minded are set to hold rallies in Dhaka on Saturday to realize the 10-point demands it announced as part of its anti-government movement.
On the other hand, the party will separately observe protest rallies in all divisional cities on the same day.
According to several top leaders of the parties, the 54-party combine is likely to finalize the decision to give nationwide programs from this rally and announce a nationwide mass procession for February 18-19-20.
At the same time, parties affiliated with the BNP's movement may declare similar programs. Likewise, Ganatantra Mancha – an alliance of seven parties – will hold a program in the capital on February 11.
The leaders said they wanted the ongoing movement to move forward slowly by observing programs separately. Ganatantra Mancha has advised the BNP leadership to follow this approach. In that case, the like-minded parties will declare a new program after each simultenous program.
