Hasanul Haque Inu, President of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JaSad) and former information minister, has said that people will not benefit from the BNP's movement, which is being carried out to capture power.
The BNP-Jamaat had failed extremely in dealing with public sufferings and economic crises in the past, he said in the course of an event at Mirpur Upazila Auditorium in Kushtia yesterday.
“By presenting a 10-point demand and the 27-point outline, the BNP has committed a political blunder in the month of victory. It has proposed a reconciliation to accept the murderers of 1971, 1975 and August 21 grenade attack,” Inu added.
“I can't accept these demands. The BNP's past is full of failures. In the last 14 years, Bangladesh has been on the path of development under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina. Now, we are in danger because of the global economic crisis. But you can trust us…we will protect the people with our experience of dealing with the Covid crisis,” he told reporters.
