Sylhet sees enthusiasm in young voters

The city corporation poll in Sylhet sees a particular enthusiasm in the young voters as they cast their votes in different poll centres in a festive manner from the morning. 

A considerable presence of young voters was also seen by our reporter at different centres within city.

Tasnuva Islam Bhuiyan, a medical student, said: "I feel good and very exciting. I cast my vote considering the competence of the candidates and I also considered their experience and efficiency while choosing one among the contenders. I voted for the candidate who will work for the betterment of the city."

Muntasa Ahmed Misbah grew eligible to vote for the first time and she came with her father to the poll centre. She said: "Everything is new to me. It feels really nice."

Another young voter, Tamanna Islam Chowdhury said: "I was really confused before casting vote but when I came to the centre, there were no more confusion. I cast my vote and it was just amazing. I feel really good being able to vote properly."
