The divisional unit of Jubo Dal, the associate body of BNP for youths, has called a half-day hartal in Rangpur division for Monday demanding release of its central president Moazzem Hossain Alal and BNP leaders Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and Barkatullah Bulu.
Rois Ahmed, Rangpur unit president of Juba Dal and assistant secretary of its central committee, called the shutdown in eight districts of the division at a press conference at 11am on Saturday, reports UNB.
The shutdown will start at 6am and continue till 12pm.
The eight districts where hatal will be enforced are Rangpur, Kurigram, Gaibandha, Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Dinajpur, Thakurgon and Panchagarh.
