Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said that infiltrators from Jamaat-e-Islam and BNP will not be allowed to be party members.
The Awami League official, who is also the Road Transport and Bridges minister, made the announcement during a press conference at Awami League President Sheikh Hasina's Dhanmondi political office on Thursday.
Terming the infiltrators as parasites, he said: "The infiltrators will not be allowed to fill out Awami League membership forms to gain membership."

Obaidul Quader also asked Awami League members to be careful and said men from other parties will not be allowed to join Awami League "whenever they want."
Later, the minister gave membership forms to the grassroots leaders of the party’s organisational districts.
